Famous Irish Band Visits Village of Boys Town
Paying homage to Father Flanagan’s Irish heritage, Boys Town Nebraska/Iowa recently welcomed Irish musical group Téada (meaning “strings” in Irish) to the historic Village of Boys Town.
The band performed at an all-school convocation, which included youth from Boys Town High and Wegner Schools. Téada also gave a lecture/demo about traditional Irish music to the high school band class.
