Infused with titanic tunesets and songs ranging from the tender to the collosal, ‘Mànran’ represents perfectly the fresh, unstoppable sound of modern Gaelic Scotland.

The biggest festivals in the UK in 2011, The Hebridean Celtic Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival, Mànran’s summer concerts were bursting at the seams with locals and travellers alike pouring in to watch the most talked about band in the Scottish traditional scene.

Eddie Barcan (Director of the Cambridge Folk Festival) had this to say: ‘Previously unknown in England, Manran racked up the highest CD sales of any band at Cambridge Folk Festival in 2011. One of the most exciting of the new crop of Scottish traditional bands, they’ve got it all, the songs and the tunes.’
