from Devon is one of England's finest folk-rock ensembles. Now in their sixth year, the 5-piece is stronger than ever. Their music covers a huge range, delicate powerful, from traditional tales of seduction and ghost stories to self-penned songs of observation on life today in rural England. In 2002 they toured mainly in the west and west coast and did seven support shows with Fairport Convention. ( Kathryn even joined Fairport doing several Sandy Denny songs to standing ovations ).
First US tours in summer/fall of 2000 and in 2001 included headlining at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA and shows at The Newport Folk Festival, Strawberry, and California Music Festival. Two CDs released in the US by Putumayo World Music ( Hazy Daze in 1999, The Lucky Few in 2000 ). A new release in the summer of 2002 of ~ first name terms ~ marked a wonderful collection of songs from the five piece band
